Our Human Resources Specialists understand the complexities involved in the recruitment, screening and selection process.
They are aware of the challenges faced by families seeking the right care for their loved ones.
At the present time these services are available to families who live in the Vancouver Lower Mainland, B.C., Canada.

Temporary Placement
(under 6 months - payment due upon placement)
The temporary placement service is available for Families/Employers who require a guarantee of the same caregiver for less than 6 months.
Families requesting this service make their request by phone and register on the website.
The information from the registration is used to match them with the appropriate candidate.
In most cases caregivers providing temporary care are already registered and screened so the placement process is often faster than permanent placement.

Permanent Placement:
(over 6 months - payment due upon placement)
This placement process has been developed to match the needs of Families to suitable caregivers based on several criteria. Families register directly on the website indicating their interest in the basic placement service or personalized service. Registered Families are contacted within 24 hours to discuss their needs in more detail and/or clarify information on the website registration.
At this point a select group of caregiver profiles is sent by fax or email. When one or more applicants has been chosen to progress to the interview stage the Families contact the caregivers directly to arrange an interview time and place.

Superior Screening (for all placement services)
All applicants are interviewed using a professional human resources model. Behavior-based and situational interview questions are used to assess the applicant's
knowledge of discipline, safety, time management, organization, creativity and communication.
All applicants are required to have current first aid and to complete a criminal records check. A minimum of two references are checked.
Before Employers start interviewing short-listed candidates they receive candidate packages that include a personal resume, a completed
OptiMum
application form and specific notes from the interview conducted.
