Temporary Placement
(under 6 months - payment due upon placement)
The temporary placement service is available for Families/Employers who require a guarantee of the same nanny for less than 6 months. Families requesting this service make their request by phone and register on the website.
The information from the registration is used to match them with the appropriate candidate. In most cases nannies providing temporary care are already registered and screened so the placement process is often faster than permanent placement.

Basic Placement Service:
(payment due upon placement)
This placement process has been developed to match the needs of Families to suitable nannies based on several criteria. Families register directly on the website indicating their interest in the basic placement service
or personalized service. Registered Families are contacted within 24 hours to discuss their needs in more detail and/or clarify information on the website registration.
At this point a select group of Nanny Profiles is sent by fax or email. When one or more applicants has been chosen to progress to the interview stage the Families contact the nannies directly to arrange an interview time and place.

Personalized Placement Service:
(includes an in-home consultation)
This level of service is designed for Families/Employers requiring a more comprehensive assessment and screening service. An in-home consultation is conducted to assess
the specific needs of the Family based on several criteria. This criteria includes childcare job skill specifications, household requirements and the Family's
philosophy with regard to care for their children. The information gathered from this assessment is used to develop specialized interview questions, screening criteria
and reference check questions which are used to interview and select the appropriate candidates.
When the family has chosen to interview one or more applicants they can contact the nannies directly to arrange an interview time and place.

Superior Screening (for all placement services)
All applicants are interviewed using a professional human resources model. Behavior-based and situational interview questions are used to assess the applicant's
knowledge of discipline, safety, time management, organization, creativity and communication.
All applicants are required to have current first aid and to complete a criminal records check. A minimum of two references are checked.
Before Employers start interviewing short-listed candidates they receive candidate packages that include a personal resume, a completed
OptiMum
application form and specific notes from the interview conducted.
