Put a Human Resources Specialist to Work for Your Family | |

Optimum Childcare and Nannies is a professional placement agency that has been providing services to families across Canada for more than 22 years. We are educated experienced Human Resources Specialists who have worked in the recruitment industry in both the public and private sector.
At the present time we are providing exclusive high end recruitment services for families seeking full time live out nannies, nanny housekeepers and household managers.
Superior Screening
All applicants are interviewed in person using a professional human resources model. Behavior-based and situational interview questions are used to assess the applicant’s knowledge of discipline, safety, time management, organization, creativity and communication.
All applicants are required to have current first aid and complete a criminal records check and a Drivers Abstract. A minimum of two references are checked.
Before employers start interviewing short-listed candidates they receive a personal resume and a completed application form and interview questionnaire.
Salary
Your employee’s salary varies depending upon their qualifications, education, experience and the job description. Generally nannies make $15 to $20 per hour, nanny housekeepers make $17 to $20 per hour and household managers make $18 to $22 per hour. We will provide assistance negotiating the salary and benefits for any job offer.
Placement Fee
Our placement fee is 7% of your employees' gross annual salary. This fee is due on the first day of employment.
Our Guarantee
At Optimum we never refer our nannies and nanny housekeepers to more than one employer at the same time. We work with a limited number of clients to provide the most effective professional service possible.
Optimum Childcare and Nannies provides a three month no charge replacement guarantee and a prorated guarantee from 3 to 12 months of placement provided that the fees for the original contract have been paid in full and the terms of the original employment contract have not changed.
