Overseas Paperwork Processing
(available to all Canadian Employers)

Once a foreign Caregiver has been offered a position, the Employer must apply to Service Canada so that the offer of employment can be assessed. This can be a time consuming and confusing process which involves approval from three government agencies.

Our overseas paperwork processing service is applicable only to employers who have found and intend to hire a specific foreign caregiver locally or overseas. An employment contract and Revenue Canada deduction information is also provided if required.

Advertising Requirements:
Service Canada has implemented advertising requirements to hire a Nanny/Senior Caregiver through the Live in Caregiver program. When you apply for a Labour Market Opinion, you must demonstrate that you meet the advertising requirements by providing proof of advertisement and the results of your efforts to recruit Canadians or permanent residents with your application. These advertising reqirements must adhere to several specific criteria and must be completed before you submit the first stage of your paperwork processing.

The fee for this service is $500 (plus GST) due before the first level of processing.
